Chris Keightley
CIO, United Way of America
Chris Keightley directs United Way Worldwide’s information technology and infrastructure. Most recently, he led the design and build of the Mary M. Gates Learning Center, which uses best-in-class video teleconferencing technology and webinar capabilities to facilitate learning across United Way’s 45-country global network. Previously, Chris worked at Freddie Mac, where he led a strategic re-engineering effort responsible for systems-related projects and business process redesigns within the Capital Markets Division. He also co-managed the development and implementation of Freddie Mac’s Reference Notes(r) securities program’s auctions, which have been considered the backbone of Freddie Mac’s term debt suite of products.
We are very appreciative of the insight into the technology needs of larger nonprofits that Chris brings to the 501cTech Board of Directors. Chris is a member of Microsoft’s Not for Profit (NFP) Customer Advisory Board and is an active community investor. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and currently resides in Arlington, Va.
