Operations Assistant

As Executive Assistant, Quizaira Recio provides critical support to 501ctech’s, senior staff and general operations. Before joining us, Quizaira was a literacy referral specialist at the Florida Literacy Coalition, where she managed a statewide bilingual hotline for adult basic education referrals and a clearinghouse of outreach and reference materials for adult education practitioners across Florida.

Quizaira holds a B.A. in Multi-Cultural Humanities from the University of Central Florida and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Outside of work, you can find her at the movies or a local show, baking sweet treats or exploring DC. A lifelong Floridian, she is adjusting to life in D.C. and the need to wear shoes in the winter.

Fun Fact: Quizaira has worked some odd jobs in her day. She was a funeral assistant and chocolatier – although not simultaneously.
