Todd Peterson

Todd Peterson leads 501cTech’s technology services team, a role that allows him to apply his substantial technology and management background to helping nonprofits operate more effectively. He worked for ten years as an IT consultant for Northrop Grumman and Accenture, managing technology projects and client relationships with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Department of Homeland Security. In 2008, he joined Equal Justice Works, the provider of the nation’s leading public interest law fellowship program, to manage their IT. Todd holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science from Elizabeth City State University.
Todd has been an active volunteer in the region’s LGBT community. Since 2000, he has been very involved with SMYAL, the only Washington metro area service organization solely dedicated to supporting LGBTQ youth. He served as board chair and performed as acting executive director of SMYAL for a time. Todd has also served as lead for the LGBT employee resource group in Accenture’s D.C. office and as a Regional Council Member of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates.
